A Weekend Trip To The Caves!

A Weekend Trip To The Caves!

This Ride is perfect for the weekend warrior! We recommend two days to complete this trip comfortably, with plenty of time to explore. It is a six-hour ride round trip, plus an hour-long tour and stops.

This rider adventure is perfect for the motorcycle camper, but there are plenty of more comfortable options if you'd rather sit back and relax after your 3 hour day trip.

As always, modify this adventure to fit your taste for adventure, and let us know if there are any cool things along the way we missed that other riders might enjoy!

First, we recommend coming by to see us at Valley Harley-Davidson. Our store comprises motorcycle enthusiasts who can give you some great tips and local advice for places to stop or add to your adventure. We've always got some great promotions and sales going on for motorclothes, parts, service, and even new motorcycles. Plus, it's always fun seeing the exciting new designs the Harley Engineers have sent out from the factory.

We put this digital map together for you on google maps for Step by Step direct directions.

Start from Valley Harley-Davidson
127 Fort Henry Rd, Triadelphia, WV 26059

You've got a couple of routes you can take, either shoot down I70 through Cambridge, Zanesville, and Columbus or take the more scenic route. We prefer the scenic route, but be prepared because it adds an hour to the Ride. Making your total into a 5-hour ride.

If you take the scenic route, you'll take US-40 E and navigate through WV-2 N until you hit OH-43. From there, ride until you hit US-22W and continue down that until you hit US-36 W until you reach OH-229 W in Newcastle.

You'll take OH-229 W to US-36 W/W High St in Mount Vernon. Then navigate to State Rte 521 W to Sunbery Rd in Delaware. Finally, meet up with US-36 W to Delaware Ave in Marysville. After that, it's a quick 22-mile sprint to your destination down OH-245 W to your destination in Salem Township.

Your final stop will be the Ohio Caverns, at 2210 OH-245 E, West Liberty, OH 43357.

The story continues today — 51 years since its restoration — in a village alive with fascinating historic tours, beautifully appointed buildings, annual festivals and events, and breathtaking gardens and pathways. The Roscoe Village is probably worth a trip, making it a perfect break spot along your weekend adventure. It's about 2 1/2 hours into your trip via the scenic route. It also offers a great place to grab memorable food and snap some great pictures. We recommend grabbing a bite to eat at Huck's Tavern; maybe even try the Pizza Subs! - https://www.facebook.com/huckstavern/
